Upload. Generate. Revisit.

Smart Shot was our main internship deliverable: an integrated module inside Tejar. Two core pages connect the first upload with a searchable library of processed images.

  1. Upload

Drag and drop product photos or choose files. Upload multiple images at once, in an Arabic or English interface.

  2. Generate

Generate imagery with Gemini (Nano Banana) and descriptions with a Gemini Flash model. Compare original and enhanced images side by side.

  3. Revisit

Find entries in table or grid view with search and date filters. Download an image, copy its description or delete the entry.

Start with the photos you have.

Drag and drop product photos or choose files, with multiple uploads supported at the same time. The interface works in Arabic and English.

Gemini (Nano Banana) generates the enhanced imagery, while a Gemini Flash model produces the product descriptions. The results view brings the original image, enhanced image and description together.

A library you can come back to.

The history dashboard offers table and grid views, search and date filtering. Each processed entry keeps its original image, enhanced image and description together, with actions to download the image, copy the description or delete the entry.

My part

Two sides of the same product, built together.

Angular frontend

I built the Angular interface for multiple image uploads, side-by-side results and the history dashboard, including table/grid modes, search and date filters. I consumed and integrated REST APIs to connect the frontend with the backend.

Spring backend

My teammate handled the Spring backend. We collaborated on connecting the interface and backend within the existing Tejar platform.

I used AI tools extensively during development. My part was the frontend work within that assisted process; the backend was my teammate’s contribution.

The wider internship work.

Beyond Smart Shot, I built reusable Angular components and CRUD services for client entities, using RxJS Observables and BehaviorSubject for reactive state management.

I collaborated with the backend team in an Agile workflow, using Bitbucket for version control, Jira for task tracking and Postman for API testing.

Building it was one part.
Understanding it is the next.

The internship gave me experience working on a product with several connected screens. It also made me more aware of the gap between getting code to work and understanding it deeply.

That distinction matters to how I describe my work and how I approach learning now.
